Navigating the Internet

The Internet is a part of our life. Everything we do today involves the Internet: reading the news, shopping, banking and bill paying, e-mailing, storing photos.....this list is endless. We will first learn about the Internet, then set up a home page, and work with different browsers and search Engines. Then each week we will explore one or more aspects of the Internet. We will use a textbook to help supplement our learning and an outline of the course will be handed out at the first class meeting.
