FILL Mission Statement

FDU’s Florham Institute for Lifelong Learning (FILL) seeks to enrich the intellectual lives of those 60 and older through intergenerational collaboration, learning, and teaching. Enrolling in FILL entitles a participant to audit a university course taught by FDU faculty, take non-credit courses in diverse topics taught by members of FILL and others, use FDU’s recreational facilities, and interact with like-minded seniors. FILL is committed to enhancing the Florham Campus community and promoting the education of its members by giving them opportunities to share their intellectual and social capital with different generations, and by tapping the diverse academic, cultural, and social opportunities available in the university community.
